I looked at alot of carseats and this is the one I picked. It’s easy to install, it’s easy to get in & out of the car, looks good, works good with the Chicco stroller and my baby loves to sleep in it. The only problem I have is she gets really warm so she can only be in it for under 30 mins. but I have heard other infant carseats have the same problem. My daughter was born in November so if she is hot in her carseat during the winter months I’m getting worried about what I’m going to do when the weather starts warming up.

Chicco Cortina KeyFit 30 Travel System- Atmosphere(Denim/ Tan)I researched car seat/ stroller combos for months before choosing the Chicco Key fit. I purchased this system because of its excellent safety ratings. I feel the carseat is a good unit. It is sturdy, easily cleaned and comfortable for my child. I was disappointed in a few features. The car seat does not latch onto grocery carts. To go shopping you must lay the car seat in the cart, taking up 3/4 of the room for food! It is quite large in the middle seat of my car also. The stroller has not been used much yet. It feels a bit wobbly, not the smooth ride of our old Chicco umbrella stroller. Also the stroller basket is too tiny for a large purse let alone a diaper bag. I bought this base to go with my granddaughter’s Chicco seat that is in her parents’ car. It was easy to install and very easy to use. Unfortunately, she has now outgrown the seat and she is in another type of seat that isn’t as user friendly. I highly recommend this base and the seat.

We have three bases and the matching Chicco Infant Seat. We used them from 2007 until fall of 2008 without a single issue. Having the extra bases was invaluable. We had one in our van, on in my husband’s explorer, and also put one in grandma’s new durango. Previous to owning the van I had a grand prix 4-door sedan without latch, and it worked just great in that car also. I prefer the latch installation of course, but I loved how you can just adjust by pressing the orange buttons to get the base level in any style car. Great product.
